Detailer/Designer
Production of detailed shop drawings is the primary responsibility for this position. Proficiency in AutoCad 2004, reading architectural blueprints, and millwork industry experience is a must. Candidates must possess a minimum of an associate’s degree in a related field of study. Experience in the construction industry and knowledge of Microsoft office products is a plus.
Estimator
Candidate should have at least 2-3 years experience in the industry as a cabinetmaker, high school diploma with some advanced training in mathematics and some prior estimating experience. Estimator should be able to read blueprints, work under time pressures and manage priorities during prolonged contact with one large project. A senior estimator should also be able to review projects and projected hours in order to establish a reasonable schedule to include: turn over meetings, scope reviews, manufacture vs. buy-out evaluation and schedule of activities (take-off, development of buy-out packages, pricing, sales strategy, pricing review and proposal development).
